Στις 10 Μαΐου ξεκίνησε κι επίσημα η περιοδεία επανένωσης των System Of A Down, με το Edmonton του Καναδά να είναι ο πρώτος σταθμός αυτής κι έχοντας ως support συγκρότημα τους Gogol Bordello.

Η πρώτη ζωντανή εμφάνιση της μπάντας έπειτα από την προσωρινή -όπως αποδείχθηκε – αποχή της από τα μουσικά δρώμενα πραγματοποιήθηκε μπροστά σε 14.000 θεατές και, σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες της Edmonton Journal, το κεντρικό σκηνικό ήταν ένας προτζέκτορας που προέβαλλε το λογότυπο του συγκροτήματος, με βουνά να εμφανίζονται κατά τη διάρκεια των πιο αργών τραγουδιών τους, και φυσικά τα ανατολίτικα χαλιά στο πάτωμα, που αποτελούν και το σήμα κατατεθέν των ζωντανών τους εμφανίσεων.
